Mourinho once said 'If I had 3 Szymanskis, I would play them all': Italian club interested in Polish player
A new claim has emerged regarding Fenerbahçe's Polish midfielder Sebastian Szymanski. It has been reported that Fiorentina, a team from the Italian league, is interested in the 25-year-old player.
Sebastian Szymanski, whom Fenerbahçe transferred from Dynamo Moscow at the beginning of the season for 9.75 million euros, has entered the radar of European clubs. The Polish player, who drew attention with 13 goals and 19 assists last season, has not been able to replicate that performance this season.
According to the Italian press, Serie A side Fiorentina scouted Szymanski in Kadıköy during Fenerbahçe's UEFA match against Athletic Bilbao. According to a report by Tuttomercato, the Italian representative is considering taking official steps for the 25-year-old player.

Head coach Jose Mourinho, however, opposes the player leaving the team in January. Praising Szymanski after the Süper Lig match against Çaykur Rizespor, Mourinho emphasized the Polish star's importance to the team by saying, "If I had two more, I would play them both."
SZYMANSKI'S PERFORMANCE THIS SEASON
Szymanski, who has a contract with Fenerbahçe until 2027, has recorded 2 goals and 5 assists in the 25 matches he has played this season.
