Roma made the following statement regarding the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi:
"AS Roma announces that it has relieved Daniele De Rossi of his duties as head coach of the first team. The club's decision was taken in the best interest of the team, in order to be able to resume the desired path as quickly as possible at a time when the season is still in its early stages. A heartfelt thank you to Daniele, who will always be at home at the Roma club, for the work he has done with passion and dedication in recent months. Communications regarding the technical guidance of the team will follow."
HE MANAGED 30 MATCHES
Following their split with Jose Mourinho, Roma had appointed club legend Daniele De Rossi to lead the team on January 16, 2024. Rossi managed 30 matches at the helm of Roma, maintaining a points average of 1.70.
