Mourinho's strategy against Rangers revealed

Fenerbahçe's experienced manager Jose Mourinho has detailed the tactics to be implemented in the return leg against Rangers to his players.

According to a report by İrfan Yirmibeş from Sözcü, Mourinho aims to disrupt the opponent's defensive balance by applying high pressure, especially in the first 20 minutes of the match. During this period, he plans to exploit the weaknesses of the Rangers defense with passes behind the defensive line and quick counter-attacks.

The Portuguese manager showed his players through analyses that Rangers experience turnovers when under pressure. Mourinho wants not only the attacking players but also the midfielders to join the press and force the opposing defense into making mistakes. He specifically noted that players like Dessers and Cerny, who were effective in the match in Kadıköy, should not be left with any space.
