Murat Ağırel summoned to the prosecutor's office: Investigation launched into Tuzlaspor

Journalist Murat Ağırel announced that he has been summoned by the prosecutor's office regarding his allegations of "Passolig and illegal betting" involving Tuzlaspor. Stating, "I provided what I know and the documents in my possession to the prosecutor's office without revealing my source," Ağırel said that an investigation has been launched into Tuzlaspor.

Journalist Murat Ağırel had recently brought an incident involving the Tuzlaspor Club to the agenda, which became a major topic in the sports community. 

Tuzlaspor had come to the agenda both last year and this year for selling tickets on Passolig for amounts such as 17 thousand TL, 21 thousand TL, 35 thousand TL, and 50 thousand TL, and for the fact that the stands appeared completely empty despite most of the tickets appearing to be sold. Recalling this situation in his article, Ağırel revealed that the same thing had happened during the Erzurumspor match. Ağırel continued his allegations regarding 1st League team Tuzlaspor and shared the details of his conversation with the Tuzlaspor President.

Announcing that he was summoned by the prosecutor's office to provide information, Ağırel wrote the following on his social media account:

"The prosecutor's office summoned me to obtain information regarding what I shared about Tuzlaspor on the ‘Kayda Geçsin’ program on HalkTV on Tuesday. I provided what I know and the documents in my possession to the prosecutor's office without revealing my source. Thus, I learned that an investigation has also been launched into Tuzlaspor.
