Muslera has decided on his future at Galatasaray

Galatasaray drew 3-3 with Dynamo Kyiv in the 7th week of the UEFA Europa League. After the match, team captain Fernando Muslera was protested.

It is claimed that the Uruguayan goalkeeper, who made a gesture indicating 'it's over' to head coach Okan Buruk while heading to the locker room, has decided to leave the team at the end of the season.

According to a report by Milliyet, it was learned that the experienced goalkeeper, who was said to be very upset after the Dynamo Kyiv match, had tears in his eyes despite his teammates' attempts to calm him down, and said, "I don't deserve this. I am very sad, but if I am the one responsible, I will leave. I have always done my best here for 14 years, and if this is all being erased because of 2-3 matches, then I am done."

It was stated that Okan Buruk and the club executives spoke with the Uruguayan goalkeeper and said, "You are a legend of this club. Such periods happen in football from time to time, but the number of those who support you is always greater. We have important goals this year, and we will never give up on you."

Muslera, who has conceded 22 goals in 19 league matches this season for Galatasaray, has conceded 8 goals in 4 UEFA Europa League matches, maintaining an average of 2 goals per match. The Uruguayan goalkeeper also conceded 3 goals against Young Boys in the Champions League Play-Off matches and received a red card in the second leg.
