Mutual 'fair play' gestures from Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor
Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor are making mutual "fair play" gestures for two players who displayed gentlemanly behavior during the eventful match played in Trabzon in the Süper Lig.
Trabzonspor, in its application to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Fair Play and Social Responsibility Board, nominated Fenerbahçe player Serdar Dursun for the "March fair play award" due to his gentlemanly behavior during the eventful match.
Following Trabzonspor's nomination of Serdar Dursun for the award, the yellow-navy club responded to this gesture with a gesture of its own.
Fenerbahçe Club also continued the spirit of sportsmanship by nominating the burgundy-blue player Eren Elmalı for the "March fair play award".
TFF Fair Play and Social Responsibility Board Chairman Ali Erten stated in his announcement that the applications from both clubs had reached the board and that the decision would be announced to the public as soon as possible.
