According to the statement by the Turkish Boxing Federation, Havvanur Kethüda, who entered the ring in the women's +81 kg category, defeated her Ukrainian opponent Karyna Zverieva in the first round in the final to become the European champion.
Emine Kılınç, who lost her final match in the women's 50 kg category, received the silver medal.
Previously in the championship, national boxers Hüseyin Ege Tekdemir, Mert Aybuğa, Zeliha Özdemir, Yonca Gül Yılmaz, and Pınar Benek had won bronze medals.
Turkey thus concluded the tournament with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
