According to the statement made by the Turkish Judo Federation, national judoka Tuğçe Beder, who competed in the -48 kg category at the Grand Slam Tournament that began today in the capital Tashkent, won the bronze medal by defeating her Mongolian opponent Baasankhuu Bavuudorj with an ippon in the third-place match.
Among the male national judokas, Salih Yıldız, competing in the -60 kg category, won a bronze medal by defeating Belgian Jorre Verstraeten with an ippon in his third-place match.
