Ahmetcan Kaplan, Doğan Alemdar, Enes Ünal, Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Ozan Kabak, and Rıdvan Yılmaz were not included in the 28-player preliminary squad due to injuries. Emirhan Topçu, Eren Dinkci, and Mustafa Hekimoğlu were called up to the National Team preliminary squad for the first time.

The National Team will be the guest of Wales on September 6 and will then host Iceland on September 9.
