NBA results of the night: Comfortable win for Boston
In the American Basketball League (NBA) playoffs, the Boston Celtics defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-95, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Dallas Mavericks 117-95, both taking a 1-0 lead in their respective conference semifinal series.
NBA playoffs continued with two games played overnight. In the first game of the Eastern Conference semifinal series, the Boston Celtics defeated the Cavaliers by 25 points, led by Jaylen Brown's 32-point, 6-rebound performance.
For the host Celtics, Derrick White contributed 25 points and 5 assists, while Jayson Tatum added 18 points and 11 rebounds to the victory.
For the Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell recorded 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Evan Mobley finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
THUNDER START THE SERIES WITH A WIN
In the first game of the Western Conference semifinal series, the Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Dallas Mavericks and secured a victory behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 29-point, 9-rebound, 9-assist performance.
For the Thunder, Chet Holmgren produced 19 points and 7 rebounds, while Jalen Williams added 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
For the Mavericks, Kyrie Irving's 20 points and 3 assists, along with Luka Doncic's 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists, could not prevent the defeat.
