Nelson Semedo explains why he chose Fenerbahçe

Fenerbahçe's new signing Nelson Semedo spoke to Fenerbahçe Television about his transfer process and his first impressions of the club. Stating that he spoke with Talisca and fitness coach Antonio before transferring to Fenerbahçe, Semedo said, "I knew Fenerbahçe very well even before coming here. It is Turkey's biggest club, and having an important coach like Mourinho here was very valuable to me."

Semedo emphasized that he had received offers from other clubs but chose Fenerbahçe. "There were offers from England as well, but I chose Fenerbahçe. I want to fight for the championship, and I believe I am in the right place for this goal," he stated.

The Portuguese player also touched upon Fenerbahçe's UEFA Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round match against Feyenoord, saying, "We want to be in the Champions League. We need to give 200% to reach this goal."

Drawing attention to the importance of fan support, Semedo said, "I know how passionate our fans are. We need them more than ever this season. Together, we can achieve great goals."

Finally, stating that he tries to keep his motivation high on the pitch, Semedo concluded his words by saying, "I keep my concentration at the highest level on the pitch. I only focus on my job and do my best for our team's victory."
