New development in the assault case against Halil Umut Meler! Added to the indictment

The Forensic Medicine Institute report has been added to the indictment regarding the physical assault on FIFA-licensed referee Halil Umut Meler.
The indictment, prepared by the Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was accepted by the Ankara West 3rd Criminal Court of First Instance, requesting the punishment of 4 suspects for the crimes of "intentional injury resulting in a bone fracture in a sports area due to the public duty performed by the person," "attempted intentional injury resulting in a bone fracture in a sports area due to the public duty performed by the person," "threat," and "violation of the Law on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports."
The court decided that the first hearing of the case would be held on January 9, 2024.
"THE FRACTURE MODERATELY AFFECTED VITAL FUNCTIONS"
In the indictment, which also includes the report prepared by the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institute, it was stated that there were multiple wounds on the right side of Meler's head due to the impact.
The report, which stated that bruising occurred under referee Meler's left eye socket due to physical trauma, included the following findings:
"It was determined that there is sensitivity in the cheek and orbital bones, sensitivity in the soft tissue of the right part of the neck, and sensitivity due to abrasion and edema on the right knee. In this context, it was determined and opined that while his injury did not pose a life-threatening situation, it was not minor enough to be resolved with simple medical intervention, that it caused a bone fracture, and that the fracture moderately affected vital functions."
FROM THE INDICTMENT
In the indictment, Meler is listed as the "complainant," while former Ankaragücü Club President Faruk Koca, Kenan Çelikkaya, Osman Erkam Can, and Şahin Yunus Şahin are listed as "suspects."
It was requested that suspect Koca be sentenced to 3 years and 4 months to 10 years, 1 month, and 15 days in prison for the crime of "intentional injury resulting in a bone fracture in a sports area due to the public duty performed by the person," 6 months to 2 years for the crime of "threat," and 3 months to 1 year in prison or a judicial fine for "violation of the Law on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports."
In the indictment, it was requested that Çelikkaya and Şahin be sentenced to 3 years and 4 months to 10 years, 1 month, and 15 days in prison for the crime of "intentional injury resulting in a bone fracture in a sports area due to the public duty performed by the person," and 3 months to 1 year in prison or a judicial fine for the crime of "violation of the Law on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports."
For Can, a sentence of 6 months to 1 year and 6 months in prison was requested for the crime of "attempted intentional injury resulting in a bone fracture in a sports area due to the public duty performed by the person," and 3 months to 1 year in prison or a judicial fine for the crime of "violation of the Law on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports."
Furthermore, a ban from attending sports events was requested for the suspects in accordance with Article 18 of the Law No. 6222 on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports.
