Gürkan Çavdar has become the new head coach of Trabzonspor, one of the teams in the Turkcell Women's Football Super League.
In a written statement released by the burgundy-blue club, it was stated, "In accordance with the decision taken by our board of directors, Gürkan Çavdar has become the new head coach of our women's football team."
The burgundy-blues had parted ways with head coach Abdülkadir Aslan following their 6-1 away defeat to Beşiktaş in the 8th week of the league.
