I was talking about the 'methods' around the club. I have deep respect for the club, its fans, and especially Acun, who saw what I was going through and was always by my side.”
“THE MEDICAL TEAM TRIED TO ADMINISTER THAT FAMOUS INJECTION”
Saint-Maximin stated that during his illness, a team from the club's medical partner tried to intervene, saying, “In response to the issue, when I was sick, a medical team from the club's partner hospital, who were said to be under the supervision of the club doctor, tried to administer that famous injection to me.”
“IT WAS ME WHO STOPPED THIS PROCEDURE”
The French player emphasized that he intervened in the situation himself, noting that the club doctor did not stop the process. “Contrary to what is being said, it was definitely not the club doctor who stopped this procedure; it was me. I immediately felt that the behavior and approach of that medical team were abnormal. Therefore, I reached out to the club doctor, who was officially supervising the procedure at that moment, and demanded that the substance they wanted to administer to me be clearly verified. Of course, he could not do that, because as I feared, that substance was prohibited,” he said, recounting his experience.
