News of closure had saddened everyone! Statement from Bursaspor...

Galip Sakder, chairman of the council of the Bursaspor club, which competes in the TFF 2nd League White Group, stated that the claim that the club would close does not reflect the truth.

In a written statement, Sakder noted that they were surprised by the creation of a false perception on social media through unrealistic rhetoric suggesting that Bursaspor would close.

Emphasizing that the closure of the club by a decision of the Turkish Football Federation Arbitration Board is out of the question, Sakder stated that Bursaspor does not have any files pending before the arbitration board.

Stating that there is no penalty other than the two-period transfer ban received before FIFA last October due to the failure to make timely payments to the team's former player Luka Capan, Sakder noted the following:

"It is established that the FIFA transfer ban will end with the 2023-2024 season mid-season transfer window. Just as it was possible for past administrations to eliminate the restriction known as the transfer board by making payments, there can be no possibility of a mandatory ban on making transfers for a board of directors that can fulfill the requirements. If the necessary payments are made, there is no obstacle to the transfers that are desired to be carried out with the complete lifting of the restriction for the mid-season transfer window that will begin in January. We would like it to be known that our general assembly members, who will return our club to the days when we will be proud of its important successes as a country, just as in its deep-rooted past, will demonstrate their will in this direction. Our community has the human resources and strength to overcome this temporary period of crisis it is in, with the belief in the championship, dedication to the goal, and the right organization."
