Nicolo Zaniolo's plans to return to Galatasaray
Unable to find what he was looking for at Fiorentina, Nicolo Zaniolo wants to return to Galatasaray to revive his career. The Italian star is waiting for the yellow-reds to achieve their Champions League goal.
After being sidelined at Roma, Zaniolo transferred to Galatasaray during the 2022-23 mid-season break, but he has struggled to settle during his loan spells.
The Italian star, who was first loaned to Aston Villa with a conditional purchase clause, did not want to return to Galatasaray last summer.
FIORENTINA HAS MADE ITS DECISION
Stating that his career goals were different, the Italian footballer was loaned to Atalanta, again with a conditional purchase clause.
When Zaniolo's adventure at Atalanta, where Gian Piero Gasperini also focused on him, did not go as hoped, an agreement was reached with Fiorentina for another loan transfer.
The 25-year-old footballer, who has started in only 4 of the 10 matches he played for Fiorentina, will not see his purchase conditions triggered.

TRANSFER FEE CREATED A PROBLEM
Although the Italian club is open to signing Zaniolo, they do not want to pay the 15.5 million Euro purchase clause. Zaniolo, who previously had no intention of returning to Galatasaray, is now waiting for the yellow-reds to become champions.
According to Habertürk, the Italian star is planning to return to Galatasaray, which will qualify directly for the Champions League if it finishes this season at the top. Zaniolo wants to compete in the Champions League in a Galatasaray jersey and make a comeback.

5 GOAL CONTRIBUTIONS IN 33 MATCHES
The 25-year-old footballer, who has played in 33 matches this season, has recorded a total of 3 goals and 2 assists.
Zaniolo had played 10 matches in the Süper Lig for Galatasaray and provided 5 goal contributions.
