Nigeria reaches the Africa Cup semifinals!
In the Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria defeated Angola with a single goal and secured their place in the semifinals.
Nigeria and Angola faced off in the Africa Cup quarterfinal match. The winner of the contest was Nigeria with a score of 1-0.
Ademola Lookman scored the goal that brought victory to Nigeria in the 41st minute.
Fenerbahçe's Bright Osayi-Samuel, Kasımpaşa's Kenneth Omeruo, and Sivasspor's Ahmed Musa started the match on the bench for Nigeria. All three players did not feature in the match.
Trabzonspor's Paul Onuachu entered the game for Nigeria in the 90th minute.
