Norway routs Italy: Makes it 3 for 3

Winning 3-0 in the third week of Group I at Ullevaal Stadium, Norway made it 3 for 3. Italy, meanwhile, suffered a heavy defeat in their first match of the group.

Starting the match quickly, Norway took the lead in the 14th minute with Alexander Sörloth. Antonio Nusa extended the lead to two with his goal in the 34th minute. Norway's world-famous star Erling Haaland found the net in the 42nd minute, ensuring his team entered the locker room with a 3-0 lead.

Maintaining their scoring advantage in the second half, Norway defeated Italy 3-0.

Following this result, Norway, having won their third match, maintained their lead in Group I with 9 points. Italy remained at zero points after their first match. 

In the other match in Group I, Israel defeated Estonia 3-1 away, raising their points to 6, while Estonia remained at 3 points. 

SURPRISE RESULT FROM MACEDONIA

The surprise result in the groups came from North Macedonia, competing in Group J. Hosting their strong opponent Belgium at the Tose Proeski Arena, North Macedonia managed to walk away with a 1-1 draw after falling behind.

Belgium finished the first half 1-0 ahead with a goal from Maxim De Cuyper in the 28th minute. North Macedonia equalized in the 86th minute through Ezgjan Alioski. With no further goals in the remaining minutes, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. 

Following this result, North Macedonia increased their points to 5. Belgium walked away with 1 point from their first match.

In the other match of the group, Wales defeated Liechtenstein 3-0 at home, sitting at the top with 7 points.

CROATIA POURS IN GOALS

The most lopsided score in the groups was achieved by Croatia in Group L. Visiting Gibraltar away, Croatia left the match with a 7-0 victory. 

The goals that brought the big win to Croatia were scored by Mario Pasalic in the 28th minute, Ante Budimir in the 30th minute, Franjo Ivanovic in the 60th and 63rd minutes, Ivan Perisic in the 73rd minute, and Andrej Kramaric in the 77th and 79th minutes.

Starting the group with a win, Croatia increased their points to 3, while Gibraltar remained at zero points.

In the other match in the group, Czechia defeated visiting Montenegro 2-0, making it 3 for 3 and maintaining their place in the leadership seat with 9 points. Montenegro remained at 6 points.
