Nuno Espirito Santo signs contract with Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest, currently sitting in 17th place with 14 points from 17 matches in the Premier League, has made a managerial change. The English club announced that they have appointed experienced manager Nuno Espirito Santo to lead the team.
English Premier League side Nottingham Forest has announced that they have reached an agreement with Nuno Espirito Santo for the managerial position.
In the statement released by the club, it was noted that a 2.5-year contract has been signed with the 49-year-old Santo for the managerial role left vacant following the departure of Steve Cooper.
NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO'S CAREER
The Portuguese manager, who previously coached Wolverhampton and Tottenham in his career, most recently took charge of the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad in July 2022, but his contract was terminated last month.
Santo had achieved a points-per-game average of 2.26 at the Arab club.
