Official statement released! A surprise in Montella's staff...

The TFF has announced that Selçuk Şahin will also be part of A National Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella's staff.

Here is the statement released by the TFF:

"Following the appointment of Vincenzo Montella as the head coach of the A National Team, the names who will serve as the Italian coach's assistants have been determined.

Montella's assistants will be Daniele Russo, who has been working with him since the beginning of his coaching career, and Selçuk Şahin, who was part of our A National Team squad that achieved third place in the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup.

Massimo Crivellaro and Okan Aydıner will serve as analysis coaches, while Pierpaolo Polino and Vural Durmuş will serve as athletic performance coaches in the technical staff. Ozan Özerkan from Adana Demirspor and Emrah Karakovan from Eyüpspor will be assigned as goalkeeper coaches for the A National Team during international match periods."
