Okan Buruk: Our goal is a 5th consecutive championship
Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk pointed to a 5th championship after clinching the title in the match against Antalyaspor.
In the 33rd week of the Süper Lig, Galatasaray defeated Antalyaspor 4-2 at home to declare their 4th consecutive and 26th overall championship.
The manager of the yellow-red team, Okan Buruk, made statements after the match.
Okan Buruk used the following expressions in his statements:
"Truly... our 4th championship. We fought very hard. It came down to the end of the match, but I want to thank the great Galatasaray fans who have always supported us.
We have always made them happy over these 4 years. Winning the championship 4 years in a row is happening for the second time in Galatasaray's history.
Our goal is a 5th consecutive championship. I want to thank my players. Dursun Özbek, Abdullah Kavukcu, and Maruf Güneş have always been with us.
I want to thank them all very much. There is no parenthesis to open for myself.
I came here to serve Galatasaray. I took over the team after a difficult year. 4 years of consecutive championships is incredible. Hopefully, let's say a 5th championship next year."
