Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk made statements at the press conference held ahead of the UEFA Champions League Matchday 3 away game against Lille.
Stating that the yellow-reds did not get the results they wanted in their first two matches in Europe, Buruk said they need to spread their game over 90 minutes against Lille. Emphasizing that the French team is in a good position in the league, the experienced manager pointed out that the opponent will want to win on their home turf.

Regarding the squad situation, Buruk said, "They have absences, and we have had our own absences. Everyone is here except for Rafael Leao. We will do our best to win."
Expressing that the remaining matches in the Champions League are critical, Buruk stated that every point is valuable for their goal of reaching the next round. Buruk said, "The 5 matches we have ahead of us are very critical. Every point is valuable for the next round and will keep us in a high position."
Touching on his team's physical condition, Buruk said that despite the intensity of matches recently, the players must maintain their self-confidence. The experienced coach stated that they need to be more careful, especially at the start of the second halves.
Answering a question about Wilfried Singo's status, Buruk announced that the player took part in the entire training session. Buruk left the door open for the player to feature, saying, "Wilfried Singo took part in the full training session. If he is fit, he will get minutes in the Lille match."
