Fenerbahçe has released a statement regarding the health status of Jayden Oosterwolde, who was injured during the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round match against Sturm Graz.

In the information provided by the yellow-navy club, it was announced that an MRI scan of the Dutch footballer revealed a partial tear in his hamstring tendon. It was stated that the medical team has begun Oosterwolde's treatment.

In a statement made by Fenerbahçe Football Director Oğuz Çetin, it was noted, "As a result of the MRI scan performed on Jayden Oosterwolde, who suffered an injury during last night's Sturm Graz match, a partial tear was detected in his hamstring tendon. Our medical team has immediately begun our player's treatment."

The 25-year-old left-back was unable to continue the game due to his injury in the 30th minute of the Sturm Graz match and was replaced by Archie Brown.

The injury news, which came after Fenerbahçe's 2-0 home victory, represents a significant absence for the yellow-navy side ahead of the return leg. Oosterwolde is expected to be sidelined for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
