Osayi-Samuel reacts to Belgian fans attacking Fenerbahçe supporters: Stands in chaos, match halted
The UEFA Europa League play-off round second leg match between Belgium's Anderlecht and Fenerbahçe was halted due to racist behavior in the stands. Osayi-Samuel, who witnessed the moments from the sidelines, could not remain silent and went directly in front of the stands to instruct security forces to intervene in the incident.
Anderlecht vs. Fenerbahçe match referee Sandro Scharer halted the game in the 7th minute due to unrest in the stands.
After a while, the referees and teams headed to the locker rooms. Following the referee's return to the pitch after some time, the match resumed from the 7th minute.
