Paredes' Galatasaray confession: 'I received an offer'
Leandro Paredes, the Argentine player for Serie A side Roma, made statements to the press. Speaking about his transfer to Roma, Paredes said that he also received an offer from Turkey.
Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes, who transferred to the Italian team Roma at the beginning of the season, spoke after his country's 3-0 victory over El Salvador.
Paredes, who played the full 90 minutes, stated that Roma has been good for him.
"I RECEIVED AN OFFER FROM TURKEY"
Paredes' statements are as follows:
"It wouldn't be wrong to say that I am having good days at Roma. We experienced a different transition with De Rossi's arrival after Mourinho. From the first day I signed until today, I haven't encountered any adaptation problems. My family and I always feel happy in Italy."
"I knew I was going to leave PSG. I received offers from places like Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the USA. I could have earned a lot of money in Istanbul, Dubai, or Los Angeles. I am only 29 years old and I needed to prove to everyone that I am hungry for football. That is why I chose Roma."
