Paul Pogba heads to CAS! 'I did not do it intentionally'

Pogba, who tested positive for high levels of testosterone in a sample taken after the first-week match against Udinese in August 2023, was banned from football for 4 years.

The experienced footballer announced that he would appeal the decision made by the Italian Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) by applying to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

In his statement, Pogba said, "I have been informed of the Anti-Doping Agency's decision and I believe that this decision is incorrect. I am sad, shocked, and heartbroken that everything I have built in my professional football career has been taken away from me."

Stating that he did not use any doping supplements, Pogba said, "I have never knowingly or intentionally taken any supplements that violate anti-doping rules to enhance my performance."

The French player, who stated that he would appeal the decision, said, "I will appeal the decision announced today to the Court of Arbitration for Sport."
