Penalty for Caner Erkin from the PFDK

Caner Erkin, who plays for Sakaryaspor, has been handed a total 6-match ban, consisting of 4 matches for a violent act against a teammate and 2 matches for unsportsmanlike conduct toward the match officials. The 36-year-old footballer was also fined 134 thousand TL. Samsunspor's request to have the card and disciplinary sanctions against Cherif Ndiaye lifted was rejected.

The decisions taken by the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) at its meeting dated 30.09.2025 and numbered 14 have been announced.

The decisions taken by the committee are as follows:

"1- ZECORNER KAYSERİSPOR Club, due to ugly and improper chants by its fans during the ZECORNER KAYSERİSPOR-BEŞİKTAŞ A.Ş. Trendyol Super League Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match played on 24.09.2025, is sanctioned in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT (Football Disciplinary Instructions) by blocking the electronic tickets of spectators in the NORTH STAND NORTH LOWER C, D, E blocks who engaged in the ugly and improper chanting, preventing their entry to the next home match,

In the same match, ZECORNER KAYSERİSPOR Club is fined 220,000 TL due to field incidents caused by its fans in accordance with Articles 52/2 and 46/1 of the FDT, and in accordance with Article 52/3 of the FDT, the electronic tickets of spectators in the NORTH LOWER C block where the fans involved in the field incidents were located are to be blocked, preventing their entry to the next home match,

The electronic tickets of spectators entering the NORTH LOWER C block, which is stated to be blocked due to 2 different actions in articles 1 and 2, are to be blocked for a total of 2 consecutive home matches,

2- BEŞİKTAŞ A.Ş. is fined 160,000 TL in accordance with Article 53/2 of the FDT due to ugly and improper chants by its fans during the ZECORNER KAYSERİSPOR-BEŞİKTAŞ A.Ş. Trendyol Super League Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match played on 24.09.2025, as this action was committed for the 2nd time in the same season in a match where it was the visiting club, and in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, the electronic tickets of spectators in the VISITOR STAND SOUTH UPPER B block who engaged in the ugly and improper chanting are to be blocked, preventing their entry to the next away match,

In the same match, BEŞİKTAŞ A.Ş. is fined 220,000 TL due to field incidents caused by its fans in accordance with Articles 52/2 and 46/1 of the FDT,

3- The request by the representative of SAMSUNSPOR A.Ş. regarding their athlete PAPE CHERIF NDIAYE to have the second yellow card and subsequent red card and disciplinary sanctions received during the GAZİANTEP FUTBOL A.Ş.- SAMSUNSPOR FUTBOL A.Ş. Trendyol Super League Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match played at Gaziantep Stadium on 27.09.2025 lifted is REJECTED in accordance with Articles 86/2 and 86/3 of the FDT, as there was no case of mistaken identity in the concrete incident,

Trendyol 1st League match played on 25.09.2025, as this action was committed for the first time in the same season in a match where it was the home club, and in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, the electronic tickets of spectators in the BEHIND THE GOAL STAND BEHIND THE GOAL B block who engaged in the ugly and improper chanting are to be blocked, preventing their entry to the next home match,

5- SAKARYASPOR A.Ş. athlete CANER ERKİN is sanctioned with a 4-MATCH BAN and a 54,000 TL FINE in accordance with Articles 43 and 35/4 of the FDT due to a violent act against his own teammate before his expulsion during the ATKO GRUP PENDİKSPOR FUTBOL A.Ş.-SAKARYASPOR A.Ş. Trendyol 1st League match played on 25.09.2025,

In the same match, SAKARYASPOR A.Ş. athlete CANER ERKİN is sanctioned with a 2-MATCH BAN and an 80,000 TL FINE in accordance with Articles 36/1-a and 35/4 of the FDT due to unsportsmanlike conduct toward the match officials after his expulsion,

6- AMED SPORTİF FAALİYETLER Club is fined 110,000 TL in accordance with Article 46/1 of the FDT due to non-compliance with the sports equipment instructions during the AMED SPORTİF FAALİYETLER-SMS GRUP SARIYERSPOR Trendyol 1st League match played on 25.09.2025,

7- ARCA ÇORUM FK, due to ugly and improper chants by its fans during the ARCA ÇORUM FK-SERİK SPOR FUTBOL A.Ş. Trendyol 1st League match played on 23.09.2025, is sanctioned in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT by blocking the electronic tickets of spectators in the NORTH STAND E4 block who engaged in the ugly and improper chanting, preventing their entry to the next home match, It has been decided."
