PFDK announces: 7 Bursaspor players suspended!

Bursaspor, competing in the TFF 2nd League White Group, faced Diyarbekirspor at home in their 18th-week match. Following the events that took place in the final part of the match, the PFDK announced the penalties imposed on the green-and-white club and its players.

Bursaspor's Çağatay Yılmaz was suspended for 6 matches; Canberk Yurdakul, Eren Tunalı, and Talha Yakın for 5 matches; Bilal Güney and Ozan İsmail Koç for 2 matches; and Ertuğrul Kurtuluş for 1 match.

On the other hand, the Bursa team was handed a 2-match home ban to be played behind closed doors due to 'field incidents caused by its fans and members.'

The statement from the TFF is as follows:

“It has been decided that Bursaspor Club shall be fined 16 thousand TL due to ugly and bad chants by its fans during the Bursaspor-Diyarbekirspor TFF 2nd League White Group match played on 20.12.2023, and because this action was carried out for the 2nd time in a match where it was the host club in the same season; that Bursaspor Club shall be punished with 2 official matches behind closed doors at its own stadium and a fine of 56 thousand TL due to field incidents caused by its fans and members in the same match; that Bursaspor Club shall be issued a warning for non-compliance with the regulations in the same match; that Bursaspor Club shall be fined 6 thousand 750 TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct as a team in the same match; that Bursaspor Club athlete Ozan İsmail Koç shall be suspended for 2 official matches and fined 18 thousand TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct towards a member of the opposing team in the same match; that Bursaspor Club athlete Bilal Güney shall be suspended for 2 official matches and fined 18 thousand TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct towards a member of the opposing team in the same match; that Bursaspor Club athlete Çağatay Yılmaz shall be suspended for 6 official matches in addition to the match he was already required to miss due to receiving a double yellow card, and fined 10 thousand 800 TL due to his assault on a member of the opposing team in the same match; that Bursaspor Club athlete Canberk Yurdakul shall be suspended for 5 official matches and fined 9 thousand TL due to his assault on a member of the opposing team in the same match; that Bursaspor Club athlete Eren Tunalı shall be suspended for 5 official matches and fined 9 thousand TL due to his assault on a member of the opposing team in the same match; that Bursaspor Club athlete Talha Yakın shall be suspended for 5 official matches and fined 9 thousand TL due to his assault on a member of the opposing team in the same match; that Bursaspor Club athlete Ertuğrul Kurtuluş shall be suspended for 1 official match and fined 9 thousand TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct towards a member of the opposing team in the same match; and that it has been decided to impose an administrative measure on Bursaspor Club athlete Mustafa Genç as of 23.12.2023 in accordance with Articles 85/4 and 44 of the FDT and to request his defense."
