PFDK decision on Ederson
The PFDK has announced that Ederson, who received a red card in the Galatasaray match, has been suspended for 3 matches.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has handed a 3-match suspension to Fenerbahçe's 32-year-old goalkeeper Ederson due to his insulting behavior during the derby against Galatasaray.
In the statement released by the Turkish Football Federation, it was stated: "It has been decided to punish FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. athlete EDERSON SANTANA DE MORAES with a 3-OFFICIAL MATCH SUSPENSION and an 80,000 TL FINE, in accordance with articles 41/1-a and 35/4 of the FDT, due to his insult directed at the match referee following his expulsion, in addition to the match he was already required to miss due to receiving a double yellow card."
The Brazilian goalkeeper had guarded the Fenerbahçe goal in 36 matches this season.
Fenerbahçe, which will host Başakşehir in its next Süper Lig match, will conclude the season after playing against Konyaspor and Eyüpspor.
