PFDK rulings announced: 638 more footballers sanctioned in betting scandal!

As part of the ongoing betting investigation in football, the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has imposed bans ranging from 45 days to 12 months on 638 footballers who played in the third division and are currently without a club.

Last week, sanctions had also been issued against 102 footballers under Article 57/2 of the Football Disciplinary Directive (FDT).

With the new ruling, the PFDK has significantly increased the total number of sanctions imposed.

The statement issued by the PFDK reads as follows:

The decisions taken at the meeting of the Professional Football Disciplinary Board dated 20.11.2025, No. 30, regarding 3rd League athletes referred to our Board under Article 57 of the FDT, and athletes not affiliated with any club as of the referral date, are set out below.
