All eyes at Beşiktaş are on the decision to be made regarding Dusan Vlahovic, who was referred to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) following the Fenerbahçe derby.
The Serbian forward, who had an altercation with Fenerbahçe defender Milan Skriniar during the derby that the black-and-whites won 2-1, was sent to the disciplinary board due to a hand gesture he made.
It was stated that Vlahovic was referred to the PFDK without restriction in accordance with Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions on the grounds of "insult." According to a report by Sabah, the player faces the risk of a 2 to 5-match suspension.
Following the TFF's referral decision, the Beşiktaş management is awaiting the decision expected to be announced by the PFDK today. The black-and-white club is preparing to quickly file an appeal to the Arbitration Board in the event that a suspension is issued.
It was also stated that following the same match, Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım and yellow-navy player Kerem Aktürkoğlu were also referred to the PFDK on the grounds of "statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football."
