A new claim has emerged regarding the future of Ederson, who has been at the center of controversy due to his performance in recent weeks at Fenerbahçe. It is alleged that the Brazilian goalkeeper had a phone conversation with Aziz Yıldırım shortly before the presidential process was finalized.

It is stated that Aziz Yıldırım, who secured the presidency at Fenerbahçe by a large margin against Hakan Safi, pleased the experienced goalkeeper with the remarks he made about Ederson during his candidacy period.

According to Ersin Düzen from NOWSpor, who reported the news during a live broadcast, Ederson called Yıldırım personally. Düzen stated that the Brazilian goalkeeper felt encouraged by Yıldırım's words and conveyed the message, "If you become president, I would love to stay."
