Post-match statement from Emre Belözoğlu:

Ankaragücü bid farewell to the Ziraat Turkish Cup after losing 1-0 to Beşiktaş in the semi-final second leg.

Speaking after the match, Ankaragücü manager Emre Belözoğlu stated that they were the side that deserved to reach the final, saying, "Football is that kind of game; sometimes you don't get what you deserve. I congratulate Beşiktaş."

Belözoğlu's statements are as follows:

"Football is that kind of game, there is nothing to be done. We tried to do everything in terms of our play over the two matches. I think we had the chances to make it 2-0 or 3-0. Beşiktaş scored from an individual error when we were trying to do something individually. The players are sad, and I am sad for my part. Football is that kind of game; sometimes you don't get what you deserve. I think we were the side that deserved to reach the final. I congratulate Beşiktaş."
