It has been stated that Fenerbahçe's defensive midfielder İsmail Yüksek said, "The club I would want to go to in Europe is my childhood dream, Manchester United." It was also claimed that he has attracted the interest of another English team. It has been alleged that Tottenham is showing interest in İsmail Yüksek.
According to a report in Team Talk, the English team's manager Ange Postecoglou does not plan to include Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, whom he has not featured in the starting 11 in recent weeks, in next season's squad. It is claimed that the name being considered to replace the Danish defensive midfielder is Fenerbahçe's successful player İsmail Yüksek.
The report also mentions that İsmail recently revealed that his dream team is Manchester United, and states that Tottenham will compete with ManU for the Turkish star.
While it is claimed that Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also interested in the 25-year-old footballer, the comment was made that "Yüksek, a defensive-minded, deep-lying midfielder, has been one of the driving forces behind Fenerbahçe's title challenge in the Süper Lig."
İsmail Yüksek has a contract with the yellow-navy team until 2027. The midfielder, who has appeared in 40 matches this season, has contributed 1 goal and 5 assists.
