Preparations for the France match continue for the National Team: Orkun Kökçü did not attend training

The National Football Team, which will face France in Kocaeli on Friday, September 25, in its first match in the UEFA Nations League A Group 1, continued its preparations.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, the training session at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities was held under the management of head coach Vincenzo Montella. At the beginning of the session, a celebration was held for the players invited to the squad for the first time and for the newly appointed coaches.

The training, which began in the sports hall named after Ebubekir Uçar, the TFF Stadium Security Unit official who lost his life in a traffic accident last month, continued with passing and tactical work on the Turkish Airlines Training Field. A tactical game was played in the final part of the training.

The TFF reported that Demir Ege Tıknaz, who could not attend yesterday's session due to his travel schedule, as well as Deniz Gül, Muhammed Şengezer, and Yunus Akgün, who had minor injuries, took their places in the team for today's training. Orkun Kökçü, whose toe pain persists, did not take part in the training.

The training was also followed by TFF vice presidents Mecnun Otyakmaz and Fuat Göktaş, as well as TFF Chief Advisor Yusuf Yerkel. The National Team will continue its preparations for the France match with a training session on Wednesday, September 23.
