President announces: Fenerbahçe to receive a 'share' from Eljif Elmas!
Thanks to a sell-on clause in the contract of Eljif Elmas, who plays for Italian Serie A side Napoli, Fenerbahçe is expected to earn 1.5 million Euros from his transfer to RB Leipzig.
Fenerbahçe could earn money again from Eljif Elmas, whom they transferred from the Macedonian club Rabotnicki for 180 thousand Euros in 2017 and sent to Napoli for a transfer fee of 16.2 million Euros in 2019.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis announced the transfer to RB Leipzig in a statement, saying, "We sold Elif Elmas, the deal is done. He wants to play all the time and find consistent playing time, so we allowed him to leave the team."
Furthermore, it is claimed that RB Leipzig will pay a transfer fee of 25 million Euros to Napoli for this transfer.
The Yellow-Navy Blues are expected to generate significant income due to a sell-on clause they included in the contract when sending Eljif Elmas to Napoli. According to the clause in the contract, this income could reach 1.5 million Euros.
