PSG detentions in France: 81 people

The French team Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) became the UEFA Champions League champion by winning the final match against Italian representative Inter 5-0. 

Following PSG's victory, the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of the capital Paris, was illuminated with the team's colors.

In the streets of Paris, around the Parc des Princes stadium, and throughout the capital, PSG fans are celebrating their team's victory with enthusiasm and fireworks. 

Footage shared on social media shows police using pepper spray and batons to disperse crowds of fans around the Parc des Princes stadium and on the Champs-Élysées. 

Meanwhile, some barricades were set up and at least one vehicle was set on fire around the stadium, with fire crews arriving at the scene to extinguish the blaze. 

Some fans jumped into the road, crossing security cordons to escape the police. 

Fans wanting to head to the Champs-Élysées to celebrate PSG's victory caused a stampede at a suburban train station. 

The newspaper Le Figaro reported that at least 81 people were detained in the incidents that occurred in Paris following PSG's victory. 

Authorities had decided to close some metro stations in Paris starting from 18:00 local time to prevent potential unrest due to the match.
