Racist chanting penalty for Getafe!

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Disciplinary Committee has imposed a 27,000 euro fine and a 3-match partial stadium closure on Getafe due to racist chants that occurred during the La Liga match between Getafe and Sevilla in the 30th week.

According to a report on NtvSpor, it was stated that racist remarks were directed at Sevilla player Marcos Acuna and manager Quique Sanchez Flores in the 68th minute of the match held on March 30 and after the game.

It was reported that in addition to the penalties imposed on the Getafe club, the committee requested that the club publish a message against racism, xenophobia, and intolerance, while the Spanish press described these RFEF decisions as an "exemplary penalty" against racism in football and suggested that more decisive and tougher steps would be taken against similar incidents in the future.
