Real Madrid extends Vinicius Junior's contract until 2027
Spanish club Real Madrid has announced that the contract of Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior has been extended until June 30, 2027.
In a written statement from Real Madrid, it was reported that the contract of Vinicius, who joined the club in July 2018 at the age of 18 and was originally set to expire in June 2024, has been extended until June 30, 2027.
Over six seasons with Real Madrid, Vinicius has played in a total of 235 matches, scored 63 goals, and played a significant role in the 9 trophies won by the team.
The Spanish press reported that Real Madrid has set Vinicius's release clause at 1 billion euros and that the Brazilian footballer will be the highest-paid player on the team.
