Referee reaction from Bülent Uygun: If I had known, we would have joined a wrestling match
Sivasspor manager Bülent Uygun stated that they did not perform well in terms of football during their 6-1 away loss to Galatasaray in the 35th week of the Süper Lig. Uygun also criticized the referee's officiating in the match.
In the 35th week of the Süper Lig, Sivasspor was defeated 6-1 away by league leaders Galatasaray.
Following the match, Sivasspor manager Bülent Uygun made statements at the press conference held at RAMS Park.
Criticizing the officiating of referee Arda Kardeşler, Uygun said, "I congratulate our opponent. We couldn't offer anything good in terms of football. We couldn't display the game we wanted. If I had known about referee Arda Kardeşler, I would have brought Taha Akgül and Sebahattin Öztürk with me. We would have joined the wrestling matches. He used all his discretionary powers in favor of the opponent. Our game plan was disrupted. Our strength is already clear. Afterwards, Galatasaray scored their goals. I congratulate them," he said.
Bülent Uygun concluded the press conference without taking any questions.
