As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Central Referee Committee (MHK), Süper Lig Referee Yasin Kol and Süper Lig Assistant Referee Göktuğ Hazar Erel have been taken into custody on allegations of "violating Law No. 7258," "complicity in forgery of documents," and "misconduct in office."
Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the MHK, Süper Lig Referee Yasin Kol and Süper Lig Assistant Referee Göktuğ Hazar Erel were taken into custody in Trabzon following the friendly match played between Trabzonspor and Drogheda United.
It was stated that proceedings were initiated against Yasin Kol and Göktuğ Hazar Erel following the examination of digital devices seized from the suspects in custody and a detailed analysis of MASAK records.
It was reported that the suspects were taken into custody on allegations of "violating Law No. 7258," "complicity in forgery of documents," and "misconduct in office."
