Request for meeting with TFF from the Union of Clubs: Will Büyükekşi's resignation be demanded?
A delegation from the Union of Clubs will meet with Mehmet Büyükekşi to request that the TFF presidential election date, currently planned for July 18, be moved forward. Accordingly, the delegation will meet with TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi and demand his resignation.
The election debate between the Turkish Football Federation and the Union of Clubs Foundation continues. The Union of Clubs has formed a dialogue delegation, to be chaired by Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek, to meet with the TFF. The delegation will hold a meeting with TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi to request a change in the election date.
The dialogue delegation, which does not include representatives from Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, or Trabzonspor, includes Samsunspor President Yüksel Yıldırım along with Fatih Saraç from Kasımpaşa.
Sivasspor President Mecnun Otyakmaz, who was selected for the delegation, stated that he would be unable to attend due to the match against Fenerbahçe on Monday.
WILL HIS RESIGNATION BE DEMANDED?
According to a report by Sports Digitale; the dialogue delegation formed by the Union of Clubs will meet with TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi on Monday, April 22, at 16:00 and will demand his resignation.
Accordingly, it was noted that the Union delegation will once again request that the election date be moved from July 18 to the beginning of June, and that if the date is not changed, the signatures collected will be put into effect.
