In a written statement, Vardı stated that he has resigned from his membership on the Atakaş Hatayspor board of directors, a role he has held for 7 years.
Expressing that he tried to do his best for the team throughout his tenure, Vardı noted the following:
"As of today, I am resigning with peace of mind from my membership on the Atakaş Hatayspor board of directors, which I have held with honor for 7 years. For 7 years, I tried to do my best for both the men's team and the women's football team. With the fan groups we formed in our 15 districts, I strove to provide stronger support for our city's team as one heart for Atakaş Hatayspor. I would like to thank all our employees, our management, our fans who have always supported us, and the members of the press individually."
