Resignation statement from Mehmet Aurelio

Antalyaspor lost 4-1 to Eyüpspor in the match played at home in the 18th week of the Süper Lig.

While the visiting team Eyüpspor's goals were scored by Mame Thiam (2), Ahmed Kutucu, and Ampem, the only goal for the host Antalyaspor was scored by Safuri. Antalyaspor suffered its 3rd defeat in the 9 matches it has played at home.

Following the match, Antalyaspor Technical Manager Mehmet Aurelio made statements.

"WE ARE FEELING THE PAIN OF THE DEFEAT"

Stating that they went into the match with the goal of winning but lost, Antalyaspor Technical Manager Mehmet Aurelio said, "We felt the pain of the defeat in the locker room, both as players and as the technical staff. We went onto the pitch for a win, but it didn't happen. We are very saddened by this score. We started the first half very well; we had 3 very clear goal-scoring opportunities. We could have gone 3-0 up. When we couldn't capitalize on those chances, the opponent started to feel strong and turned the score in their favor. We started the second half with a different spirit, and as a result, we found a goal immediately, but we couldn't sustain it. We left with a defeat. Starting tomorrow, we will prepare for the cup match and the Trabzonspor match," he said.

"WE ARE NOT CONSIDERING RESIGNING"

In response to the question, "Are you considering resigning?", Mehmet Aurelio replied, "We have no thoughts of resigning. We are at our post together with coach Alex. We are focused on the cup and league matches. We are continuing our work."
