THE ŞOTA ERA BEGINS
Following this departure, the Fatih Karagümrük club announced that it has reached an agreement with Georgian manager Şota Arveladze for the head coaching position. In the announcement, it was stated, "Our club has reached an agreement in principle with Şota Arveladze for the head coaching position."
Arveladze most recently managed Hull City, a team owned by Acun Ilıcalı.
