Fenerbahçe, which had a dream start to the season, has seen a decline following injuries to key players such as Djiku, Fred, and Becao.
The yellow-navies, whose winning streak in the Süper Lig ended with a home defeat to Trabzonspor, have also lost their last 2 matches in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Visiting Nordsjaelland last night, Fenerbahçe suffered one of the heaviest defeats in its history, falling 6-1 to its opponent. İsmail Kartal's tactical moves during the match were heavily debated.
Speaking on Sports Digitale, commentator Rıdvan Dilmen criticized İsmail Kartal and stated that Fenerbahçe needs to take radical decisions.
"ARE YOU WAITING TO CONCEDE 25?"
Citing Galatasaray as an example and noting that the Yellow-Reds fought to make a comeback despite conceding 3 goals, Dilmen criticized İsmail Kartal, saying, "You aren't even switching to a double-striker formation."
Referring to İsmail Kartal's substitutions, Rıdvan Dilmen said, "Are you waiting to concede 25? A striker comes off, a striker comes on."
Stating that while Fenerbahçe could lose by a wide margin, the lack of any reaction was very disturbing, the famous commentator remarked, "It's as if they just rented a plane and went there."
Pointing out that the Fenerbahçe players acted indifferent, Rıdvan Dilmen said, "You concede 6 goals and don't even receive a yellow card."
Saying "The match could have ended 10-0," Dilmen recalled the 3-4 saves made by Livakovic and added, "Livakovic must have played a match he will never forget in his life. He must have asked himself, 'Where have I come to?'"
Addressing the Fenerbahçe management, the famous commentator said, "A player who doesn't play with passion has no place at Fenerbahçe."
Finally, addressing the administrators again, Rıdvan Dilmen said, "Fenerbahçe must take very serious, radical decisions; no one has the right to put Fenerbahçe in this situation."
