Rıza Çalımbay: 'At least 3-4 transfers'

Beşiktaş manager Rıza Çalımbay made statements following the 2-0 victory against Lugano in the Conference League.

Çalımbay said, "I wish we had come here with a more competitive standing... We played a good match. My primary thought was to use all the young players, and we did. We have friends who will contribute a lot to Beşiktaş. They will be much better in time. There is a European match won. We were eliminated despite winning. It is a source of happiness for us as well."

The experienced manager continued, "All the young players are good. We are working together with the youth academy. They have been with us constantly. Such an opportunity arose. Among them, players who will play for Beşiktaş like us will emerge soon."

Rıza Çalımbay stated, "We have two matches left. We need to finish both of them well. This was a morale booster for us. I believe we will stop this bad run. After making at least 3-4 transfers, we will definitely reach a better position."

Sending a message to the fans, the black-and-white manager said, "Our fans are our number one. No one expected this much. Beşiktaş fans are something else. We are proud of them."
