Rıza Çalımbay rumors at Gaziantep FK! Can he stop the poor run?

After climbing toward the top of the table in the 18th week of the Süper Lig, Gaziantep FK has neared the relegation zone due to points dropped in recent weeks. The red-and-blacks, who have collected only 9 points in their last 11 matches, are now linked with Rıza Çalımbay for the managerial seat.

Rıza Çalımbay rumors at Gaziantep FK! Can he stop the poor run?

After rising to the top of the table with a 3-0 away victory against VavaCars Fatih Karagümrük, Gaziantep FK has essentially been in a decline since that match.

Having lost 1-0 away to Antalya, Gaziantep FK has managed to collect only 7 points in the last 10 matches. During this period, Gaziantep FK recorded 4 losses and 6 draws, falling to 18th place with 28 points.

PROBLEMS IN FRONT OF GOAL

Failing to score in their last 2 matches, Gaziantep FK has conceded 3 goals in this period. The last goal for Gaziantep FK came in the 3-1 victory against İstanbulspor on February 20.

ÇALIMBAY CLAIMS

Following these poor results for Gaziantep FK, it has been suggested that head coach Marius Sumudica could be dismissed and Rıza Çalımbay brought in to lead the team.

Gaziantep FK will host Beşiktaş at home on Monday, March 11, in the 29th week of the league.
