Rıza Çalımbay's tenure was short-lived
In a statement released by Beşiktaş Club, it was announced that they have parted ways with Rıza Çalımbay. The statement also thanked Çalımbay for his efforts.
Beşiktaş was defeated 3-1 at home by Alanyaspor in the 17th week of the Trendyol Super League. Following the latest defeat, Beşiktaş has parted ways with head coach Rıza Çalımbay.

The statement made by the club included the following:
"Our Board of Directors, as a result of the meeting held after the Corendon Alanyaspor match, has decided to part ways with our head coach, Mr. Rıza Çalımbay.
This decision was taken in accordance with the agreement reached in the contract made with our esteemed coach, in order to prevent further strain until December 27, 2023. We thank our legendary captain and player, Mr. Rıza Çalımbay, for all his efforts.
