Sacha Boey in Munich for transfer

Galatasaray's right-back Sacha Boey has left Istanbul for Munich to finalize his transfer, having reached an agreement in principle with Bayern Munich. Boey, who arrived in Germany on a private jet provided by Bayern, is accompanied by his agents Joshua Barnett, Thies Bliemeister, and Bembi Vungbote. The French footballer will sign a 4.5-year contract with Bayern and is set to undergo medical examinations today.

According to a report by Sky Sport, Boey is highly motivated to play for Bayern Munich. While saying goodbye to his teammates, he expressed hope that he might be included in the squad for Bayern Munich's match against Augsburg today. However, it seems unlikely that the 23-year-old footballer will feature in that match.

The report on the transfer states that Boey will join Bayern for a transfer fee of 28-29 million Euros. It was also highlighted that the transfer process was managed successfully during negotiations between Galatasaray Deputy Chairman Erden Timur and Bayern Munich Sporting Director Christoph Freund, resulting in a smart deal for both clubs. Sacha Boey, who joined Galatasaray in 2021, made 83 appearances for the club, contributing 4 goals and 4 assists.
